Watersmeet is the perfect country escape on 150 acres of stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland, just an hour from both Coolum and Brisbane.  Enjoy heavenly views and leisurely strolls through rolling pastures and walking trails (15 km right here on the property!). Then return to your home away from home to relax on the spacious deck or by the fire - just what you need.

 

This nature lover’s paradise is blessed with private access to Bellthorpe National Park. We are also part of Land for Wildlife, a nation-wide conservation program that supports the maintenance and enhancement of native flora and fauna. Our guests have spotted wild goannas, wallabies, echidna, countless bird species and even koalas!

The charming town of Maleny is a treasure trove of arts, cafes, and boutiques. Buy your holiday read at the irresistible Rosetta Books, grab a meal at Frank Food & Wine and some great coffee at Shotgun Espresso next door. Definitely pop into Maleny Food Co. for gelato and cheese from their fromagerie, or Award-winning Maleny Dairies and Maleny Cheese for local produce from the makers.

If you want even more nature to explore, Mary Cairncross Reserve and Cafe and Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World are just a short drive away.

30 MINUTES & BEYOND

The Blackall Range is full of charming country towns to explore. From Maleny, you can continue on to Montville, Mapleton, Kenilworth and beyond for tea time, antiques & shopping.

 

For nature adventures, head to Mapleton Falls, Kondalilla Falls and the beautiful Lake Baroon. The Australia Zoo, Big Kart Track and Aussie World are nearby attractions that are fun for the entire family. 

​

Further afield, you can visit Mooloolaba Beach in under one hour, or slightly over an hour you can browse the famous Eumundi Markets or swim at Noosa Main Beach.
